Our pet dogs are loyal and so darn cute! But there are times when we don’t know they’re in pain, yet they appear comfortable in their daily lives.
Because they can’t speak, they have issues communicating that they’re achy. But if you watch them closely, sometimes they’ll show you signs of pain. Here are some examples of signs:
- Trembling
- Posture may be more hunched than usual
- Limping/Stiffness
- Unusual, substantial panting
- Pacing
- Sleeping less
- Unusual vocals (i.e. grunting, yelping, whining, crying, etc.)
- Frequently biting/licking a body part
- Unexplained aggression, especially when a dog is usually known to be friendly
- Enlarged pupils
- Difficulty standing up
If you suspect that your pet is suddenly “out of sorts”, please see your local vet to rule out underlying conditions. We meet customers who opt for alternative therapies, and our educators frequently counsel pet owners on how to use hemp CBD for their dog’s pain or end-of-life comfort. We may educate you on:
-How to determine individual pet dosages
-The difference between isolate, broad spectrum and full spectrum CBD.
-Why hemp CBD is non-toxic for pets
